Funeral services for Forest W. Fergason, 70, Quitman, were held October 9, 2013 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel of the Chimes, Quitman with Brother Fred Morrow and Reverend James Nickell officiating.  Burial was held in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Mineola.

Mr. Fergason passed away October 7, 2013.  He was born January 13, 1943 in Beaumont, Texas to Carlson W. and Lucile Chappel Fergason.  He was a Self-employed plumber and a member of the First Baptist Church of Quitman.  He had lived in Quitman since 1947.  He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Velda Hilderbrand.  Survivors include wife Betty Fergason, Quitman, daughters and sons-in-laws, Karla Wheeler and Scott, Quitman, and Misty Johnson and James, Quitman, brothers; Carl Eugene Fergason, McAllister, OK, Lee Ray Fergason, Quitman, four grandchildren, three grate grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
