Richard was worn on April 29, 1944 in Dallas, Texas to parents Emanuel McFarlin and Reba Ann (Jennings) and entered into eternal rest on May 11, 2014 at the age of 70.  Richard was a member of Toloso Baptist Church, Brothers of the 3rd Wheel and Teamsters Local #745.  He loved riding his trike, fishing, and teaching Sunday School at the church.  Richard was preceded in death by his parents, brother Frank McFarlin and his sister Shirley Groves.  He is survived by his wife Sue McFarlin of Kemp, sons; Richard Alan McFarlin of Tool, Christopher "Chris" Darell McFarlin of Midlothian, seven grandchildren; Kirstin, Skyler, Taylor, Chandler, Bradley, Colby and Mason, brother Wendell and wife Carol Ann McFarlin of Mckinney and his sister Joy Montgomery of Mesquite.
