Paul Thomas 1945-2021

Paul Thomas, 75, died peacefully at home on October 14, 2021 after a short illness. He was born in Quitman to William A "Son" Thomas and Gertrude Thomas.

He leaves behind his wife of 25 years, Diana Burford Thomad, daughter Kris Condos of Plano, son Kyle Thomas and wife Jammie Thomas of Pittsburg, a step sister Della Mason-Layton of Longview and 4 grandchildren.

Paul operated a gas station and tire business for many year on E Coke Rd.  Over the years he hired many local high school students helping to shape their work ethics.  He finished his working career as a wholesale tire distributor for all of East Texas. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Herman.

An informal visitation with a service will be held Friday, October 22 from 4-7 at the Red Barn, Hwy 37 South of Winnsboro at 100 County Road 4830.
