Debra Ann McAllister

Funeral services for Debra Ann (Cain) McAllister, 66 of Quitman are scheduled for 10 A.M. Saturday at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel in Quitman with Brother David Jackson and Rev. Bobby Jones officiating.   Burial will follow at Quitman City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P.M. Friday evening at the funeral home.

Debra was born August 26, 1952 in Tyler, TX to Gaston Paul and Nelwyn (Puckett) Cain and died January 15, 2019 in Quitman.  She worked in insurance sales for many years and was a member at First Baptist Church in Quitman.  Debra graduated from Quitman High School in 1970 and Texas Christian University in 1974, where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Gaston and Nelwyn Cain and her husband Terry.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Cain and Joannie of Quitman; Courtney McAllister of Tyler and Chase McAllister of Quitman; her sister Pam Smith and Stan of Quitman; Granddaughters Makaylen Vega and Fabian of Tyler, and Maddox McAllister of Tyler; great granddaughter Alexa Vega of Tyler; niece, Kristan Smith Rosenblum; and nephew, Clay Smith.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cain McAllister, Courtney McAllister, Chase McAllister, Jason Cathey, Clay Smith and Alvin Jones.  Honorary pallbearer is Stan Smith.
