QUITMAN - Services for Charles R. Delk, 70, of Quitman, were at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2007, at Royal Valley Funeral Home Chapel of Hope. Private interment was in Myrtle Springs Cemetery. Arrangements were by Royal Valley Funeral Home. Mr. Delk died June 20, 2007, at his residence.
Born April 28, 1937, in Kilgore, he was devoted to his family and helped found the Hainesville Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors include his wife, Frances Delk; mother, Eather Delk; sister, Della Hogan; brothers, Richard Dick Delk and Buford Delk; daughters, Fonda Kirby and Daphne Hasten; and son, Tracy Ray Delk.
