Don Seago (1958)

Mrs Mac was my spanish teacher and Richard Pollard and I had a blast in her class.  The days at Quitman High School were some of the rowdiest and finest times of my life.  This was in 1958 and I will always appreciate the days I spent at Quitman High School as a definite great time in my growing as a teenager.  We had our bad days as Coach Red Lorance was one of our PE teachers and he was a ruffian.  Mrs Mac cared for our learning and tried to instill some discipline in our young boisterous lives.  I will never forget her smile and her mean look when we messed up in the clasroom.  Some times were rough but we managed to overcome our troubles by being over looked and cared for by some of the finest people (teaches & staff) in this country.  Mrs Mac was stern and hard faced....but She had a loving heart and took care of her teaching position by instructring us in an outstanding way.  I think of her as I think of past times at QHS.     DonSeago QHS 1958
