Funeral services for Jimmie "Jo" White, 76, Quitman were held Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Myrtle Springs Baptist Church with Michael Mize and Brother Fred Morrow officiating.

     Burial was at Myrtle Springs Cemetery under the direction of Lowe Funeral Home.

     She passed away on August 19, 2010 in Tyler, TX.

     She was born September 1933 to the late Jack and Maggie Searcy Blalock.

     She is survived by her husband, Sam A. White of Quitman; son, Shannon White of Quitman; daughter and son-in-law, Sheree and Jerry Mize of Mineola; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Kate Kirby of Quitman; brother, Buddy Blalock of Bridgeport and several nieces and nephews.
