Bobbie Jean Jackson was the youngest daughter of Willie and Ethel Jackson. She grew up in Quitman sourrounded by love from her Mom, Dad, sisters, Vera Mae and Peggy and her brother, WC Jackson, Jr. She was also loved and adored by her nieces and nephews, David, Jennifer and Holley Jackson. It was always a treat when Peg and Bob came home. You can rest assured there was always laughter and love among all of us.
After graduating from Quitman High School, Bobbie attended and graduated from SMU with a degree in Education. She married George Fettinger while he was in the Air Force. He was a pilot and once he flew over Quitman and the plane shook aal the windows! She taught first grade in Almargardo, New Mexico, Dallas, Rockwall and Arlington and was an outstanding teacher where ever she went.
I miss her and Peg so much, but thankful for the influence they had on my life..
