there are many angels in one's lifetime, and Clay is one of mine.
He always helped me and sort of protected me.
He could speak volumes like when he thought I was going to get hurt. Once he even jumped the fence and ran across the highway when I was on my horse to save me. Then he would get upset and sort of lecture me ... well I can't write what he said due to site Etiquette.
I don't think Cindy Strickland will mind if I tell this story.
On our Graduation night the two of us , we crawled in through Clay's window, giggling, and he let us stay there all night and fixed us breakfast in the morning.
I asked him "why do you put a lid on the frying pan? " he said "because my mother does it that way".
