Mrs. Adrian was not only my neighbor, but also a fantastic teacher. Although she made many people in her classes angry, she also had a way of making you think about things in a different way that you might have without her prompting. I miss her.
Mrs. Adrian was my teacher first, but years later she became my neighbor. It's a whole new experience whenever you become an adult and meet someone who was your teacher again. It was like meeting her for the first time. She was nothing like I thought she was when she was my teacher.
She became a very close friend and after her husband passed away, she made it to my home on several Christmas mornings to enjoy my family with me. She could cross stitch and I still have a special gift that she made for me. I ended up loving her very much and missed her greatly when she passed away.
