In a conversation with Sidney's classmate & sister-in-law Vivian Harris Roberts on Sept 29, 2014 ... she informed us of Sidney's death.  She said that he left right out of high school to join our forces in World War II and was killed by friendly fire; one of our planes bombed the fox hole that he and several other guys were in.
