Memorial services for Roger Flournoy, 65, formerly of Hainesville, were held September 6, 2014, in Chico, California.
Mr. Flournoy passed away at his residence August 30, 2014, in Chico, Claifornia.
He was born December 5, 1948, in Greenville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by his grandson, James Lee Flournoy.
Survivors include his son, Roger Dale Flournoy, Jr., Austin; son, Christopher Alan Flournoy and Nancy, Holly Lake Ranch; brother Wade Carrol; sisters, Pat Warren and Sarah Petty, Tyler; three grandchildren and sever nieces and nephews. He is also survived by other family members in California.

Roger was a good guy and athlete. I remember him and John Boles going after the Edgewood quarterback and he dodged them. They ran into each other knocking both of them out. Rest peacefully my friend.
