MANN, MR. RODNEY A. – 2800 Orchard Street – Rodney went to be with his Lord on September 25, 1983, at the age of 23 years. He was born in San Francisco, CA, on July 17, 1960, and had lived in Racine for most of his life. He was a graduate of Washington Park High School in 1978 and last worked at Nielsen Tools as a Machinist. He was a member of the first Church of God in Kenosha. Surviving are his parents, Bernerd and Sandra Mann; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Lori and Eric Goodwin, Nicole Mann; paternal grandparents, Alice and Willard Nelson, all of Racine; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Helen Sprowl of Pacifica, CA; one niece, Jennifer Goodwin of Racine; aunts, uncles, many other relatives. He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Jesse Mann, on July 21, 1964, and by Harvey Sprowl on May 14, 1942. Funeral services will be held at the WILSON FUNERAL HOME. 1139 Blaine Ave., on Thursday, September 29, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. William B. Eddy officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday morning until time of services. Memorials in memory of Mr. Mann to First Church of God, Kenosha, have been suggested. 

Rodney and passenger Rosa Stafford (age 29 at time) were both killed by cause of a head-on crash on Highway 32 just north of 4 Mile Road at about 8:00 p.m.
