Mr. Thomas C. Martine of Crystal, MN – Formerly of 2616 Kinzie Avenue; Age 23. Passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 23, 1994, in Minnetonka, Minn. He was born on August 3, 1960, in Racine, son of John “Jack” and Janice (nee: Petersen) Martine. Tom was a graduate of Park High School “Class of 1978” and was also a graduate of the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse “Class of 1986.” He was a member of the Racine Kilties Kadets. Tom was employed by the Hopkins Health Care Center as the Recreation Director. Surviving are his parents, “Jack” and Janice Martine of Racine; loving brother and sister-in-law, Ron (Lynn) Martine of Racine; loving sister and brother-in-law, Teresa (Juan) Garcia of Racine; special uncle to John, Renee, Michelle, and Christopher Martine; grandmother, Eleanor Martine of LaCrosse, Wis.; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends. Tom was deeply loved by many and will be sadly missed. Preceded in death by his brother, Rick Martine in September of 1987; his grandparents, Nora and Elmer Petersen and Edwin Martine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 27, 1994, at 10 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 5700 Washington Avenue with Rev. William Dietzler officiating. Visitation will be tonight, Tuesday, April 26, 1994, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park.
