Pete was a good friend of mine for many years while in school. We used to walk to school together. I remember when I would pick him up, he would always have a pop-tart to eat on the way. Or a carnation instant breakfast. I know he died while I was in my first year in medical school. I don't know what happened, but I heard about it in January of 1991. It was difficult to hear about this. Pete was always a good guy and I remember him fondly.
