I went to WSU Whitewater after graduation from Park. In 1969 I got a job working in the Engineering Dept. of the Wis. Telephone Co/ I married the man I met at WSU in 1970. In 1971, Jenni was born and I became a "stay at home MOM for 12 years, except for volunteering to teach CCD, PTA board membership, room mothering, classroom volunteer, etc. I was at Cunningham and Converse schools so much I decided to apply for a part-time job. I worked with special ED students for 22 years with the School District of Beloit. I loved my job. I could be home when my kids were home! Family was most important,
