Carl was my photographer when I was an editor on the Beacon. He never complained about having to explore the bowels of Park High or climb ladders to the roof to take the pictures I needed for my more "unusual" articles. He and Paul Gertenbach were a good team!
Hi, I remember, Carl; I knew the room where I saw him working a lot. Never shared a class. Not all that school popular, but a strong person who had found a very good niche at high school age. I think people knew who he was, though. He must have been proud of what he did for Park. What I take from his death is to take good care of myself. Carl was young. His life sounded good. Rest in Peace with Jesus.
Carl and I were best friends in Junior high school and high School. We lived near each other and along with Neil H we hung around alot together. Carl even took pictures of our wedding. I had called Carl and told him about the 40th reunion and I am glad he was able to make it. I tried to get in touch with him for the 50th but to no avail. He truly was a great friend and I wish his family the best and with thoughts and prayers. He will be missed. Rell Barrett

He and Neil were the reason for all the memories we can still conger up when we look at our '67 Kipi. They too the pictures.

I remember working with Carl and Neil Haglov on the Kipi staff. He was a nice guy and it looks like he lived a great life.
