I am Steve's older brother. Steve passed away in 2012 in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He graduated from UW-Madison in 1974 and became a specialty carpenter at Old World Wisconsin. He later moved to Richland Center, Wisconsin, where he ran his own specialty carpentry business for many years. He then moved to Pewaukee and finally to Waukesha where his sudden death surprised his relatives.
I was in school with Steve starting in kindergarten. Our family visited Old World Wisconsin a lot. I wish I'd known Steve was master carpenter there. Gone way too soon.
Elaine and I walked Old World a dozen times at least. I wish too we had run into each other. A class man that everyone liked. I actually thought of him and wondered if he would be at the reunion. Farewell Steve.
