I had known Lynn since my early childhood, as our mothers were friends and we were both the oldest of 8 children.   We attended St. Edward's Grade School, Mitchell Jr. High, and Park High together until Lynn was stricken with rheumatic fever in her Junior Year.  This illness left her with residual heart damage, and ultimately ended her life much too soon.  Our mothers were both living in the same Assisted Living Facility in Racine and have now both passed away in the last two years.  I did see Lynn at the 25th Reunion, and managed to be in Racine for her funeral back in 2003.  So sorry she won't be with us for our 50th.

I didn't know Lynn until high school but had classes together and became friends.  I was surprised when I heard from Lynn after she and Rex moved back to Racine.  We were able to have several lunches before she became too ill.  I agree, we lost her too soon!
