HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DANNY! I hope you read over here sometimes. Wishing you a fun and happy birthday; you're not getting older, remember. We'll all always be young!

Hey everyone. This is great. You can find me on Facebook too. I went to the classmates that have passed on page. I was pretty good friends with Steve Zander when he died. Gary Paul was sitting next to me in drafting class on Friday and Monday he was gone, sad. I was real tight with Jamie Woodham from Middle school up until a few years before he died, I attended his funeral. That was real sad for me. I saw others on the page that I didn't know about.
I'm living in Youngsville. I am the owner of a small Electrical Company. I have a son, Garrett who is fourteen and almost as tall as me. He plays football, baseball and basketball. I have four wonderful dogs and a "cat from Hell". I love the country life. Raleigh got a little too busy for me.

Good to see you on here, Preston. It's been such a pleasure talking with you and finding all the information on my family. I'm going to take what you gave me and run with it. I'd never even known the name of my grandparent's or great-grandparents! It's nice to find a new cousin, even if you are "removed" a bit!

Happy Birthday to Mike Cook on July 15th! Mike, where are you now? I know at one time you thought you might move away from the area; I hope you didn't! Have a great birthday.

I was happy to see Mrs. Long's 4th grade class picture posted here. I recognize almost everyone and I plan to print this picture out on photo paper as the one I had is since long gone. I'd love to see any other class photos as well.

Those 7th grade pictures are hysterical! As much as I regret not growing up with y'all, I'm really glad my 7th grade picture wasn't here!

Terri ... I have to agree. I would have loved to have gone to Millbrook all my school years like so many did but have made some wonderful friends and everlasting memories since the 9th grade.

It's great seeing more people updating their profiles!  Looking forward to our 35th reunion.

I want to thank everyone for yet another wonderful reunion.  It's so much fun to see and visit with such a wonderful class and I hope we can continue to do this as often as possible.

It was really great seeing some of you that I haven't seen since graduation and the funny thing is that it only seems like just a few years have gone by since we graduated.  Maybe just a few gray hairs to tell our age but I think we have all aged gracefully.

Again, my thanks go out to the planning committee.  You did a great job.

Thanks Renee!  The Class of '75 MHS reunion committee will keep you posted for any future events we plan.  And after our 35th ... pretty sure we will not wait 5 years.  After all, we didn't wait 5 years since our 30th.  It's always so much fun when we do get to see one another!

Attention Friends ... Pictures from 2010 are available again.  While looking at the site this evening I couldn't find the pictures from that fun night.  I don't know how long they've been "missing" but take a minute to look through them ... and get ready for our 40th in 2015!

Did anyone else notice in the obits a couple weeks ago that Mrs. Carter passed away?  She was well into her 90s!  If you ever had English class with her, you'll remember her "special themos".  She was a good teacher. Sometimes her husband would sub for her and he was adorable!

Yes Mrs. Carter passed away.  She taught 8 of the 10 Grissom siblings and was a sweetheart.  When I had here for English the first day she said OMG I got another one of them Grissoms go ahead and take a seat.   I asked her one day Mrs.  Carter let me get some of that Orange juice in your thermos and she laughed and said no you can't have any of this juice.

Loved Ms. Carter and we use to play so many tricks on her it was shameful.  If you can hear me Ms. Carter sorry for the goofs, but it was only becasue we loved you.  Mr. Carter was one of my most memorable teacher.  This is for you Mr. Carter.  "We are not here to dream and drift, we have work to do and loads to lift."  This was his opening remarks to every new class.  Loved him and can see him now barely seeing over the top of his desk.

I have just taken a too long break from work I need to be doing but couldn't stop once I started.  I received an email notification today so came to this site and had a walk back to Millbrook.  Had a good time looking at profiles.  Enjoyed seeing who had become what and had some "WHATS???" and some "That just fits them perfectly" moments.  Liked seeing current pics and made me feel bad I don't have any up.  Liked seeing annual shots and trying to remember what the name looked like prior to clicking.  :)   Hope God has been good to you and you are enjoying this adult life we are now living.

Hello everyone,

I am trying to locate a classmate listed in the missing classmate list.

Does anyone know the middle name of Gary Brock, or have any other information that could provide me a clue?

09/28/15 08:56 AM #45

Kathy Hamil (Lebbad)

Hey James

This was posted the other day on the Millbrook High School Alumni Angels:

Gary Brock, class of 1975, passed away Dec 11, 2010. He was a good friend during our high school days. I lost track of him after I went into the Air Force. I know our reunion is coming up and noticed his name on the "Missing Classmates" page.

Millbrook High Alumni
Multi-class meetup
Saturday May 5, 2018
1:30 - 4:30 pm.

Hi friends,

May 5 is Cinco de Mayo and Derby Day. That seems like two good
reasons to have a springtime event.  So let's have one.

In 2014 and 2015, if I recall, and maybe 2013, we had meetups
in May at Carolina Ale House at Brier Creek in Raleigh. Judy
Coley Reibel (MHS 72) and Linda Williams (MHS 74) organized
those, and they were fun.  Let's do that again.

I'm trying to target MHS classes from the early to mid 70s
but any MHS alumni who want to come are welcome. I can post
for class of 73 and class of 75, but I'll welcome your help
in spreading the word to other classes. I've got emails for
a few folks in other classes but not many.

Having it in the afternoon may allow some folks who aren't in
Wake County to come. If that's you, we hope you'll join us.

I'll want to let the restaurant know a rough headcount so
they are prepared.  PLEASE let me know if you know you'll
come, by email at fasmith73@gmail.com. But if you decide
that day to come, just come on.  They'll work it out.

It's a nice room with big windows facing west, a long bar at
one end, and maybe 12 tables at the other.  Judy and Linda
made a good choice, I think.  Hoping for nice weather and a
good turnout. Details are below. The group name is Millbrook
High Alumni when you arrive.

Thanks,
Andy Smith (MHS 73)
