Mike Bujewski, 43, a resident of Albuquerque for 20 years, died on Friday, December 15, 2000. Mr. Bujewski is survived by his wife, Carla Padilla; son, Kurt Bujewski and daughter, Rachel Bujewski all of Albuquerque, NM; brothers; Greg Bujewski and wife, Renee of Carlsbad, CA, and Ted Bujewski of Albuquerque, NM; sisters, Karla Tabor and husband, Brian of Raleigh, NC, and Barbara Franklin and husband, Roger of Wakeforest, NC; father, Gregory Bujewski and wife Joye of Raleigh, NC. He was preceded in death by his mother, Delphia. Mike was an assistant Football coach at UNM from 1980-1987 and was proud to coach YAFL football for the La Cueva Bears from 1998-2000. His own football career began at Lees-McCrae College and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga finishing with the Green Bay Packers. He went on to establish and run several successful businesses. Mike was an avid fly-fisherman, motorcyclist, and golfer. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 18, 2000 at 4:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
