Gary Wayne Burnett

Gary Wayne Burnett, 58, of Wendell passed away from heart failure on Sunday, September 6, 2015, at his home in Wendell. Gary was very proud that he was born and raised in Raleigh. He enjoyed good cigars and was an avid NASCAR fan and fisherman. He always looked forward to a fishing trip to the Core Banks each October with co-workers from ABX and was a great cook. Gary was loved and admired by his family, friends and co-workers. He loved his family and especially his best buddy, Jack. Gary is survived by his wife, Dee Anne Burnett; and sons, Samuel Aubrey Burnett of Raleigh and Jay Conrad Burnett of Wendell.
