Gary, remember the night we stayed up until 2:00 listing to that 45 record Tommy Roe song "Dizzy" on your mini record player?? I remember riding the little "Honda Mini Trail 50 mini bike" in your back yard with your little Boston Terrier chasing us. How about the time when we came in from playing one day and your mother gave us Miracle Whip sandwiches??? And we liked it??? What about the time we were riding our bikes and your neighbor's dog chased us and he bit a chunk of meat from my leg and your mother had to patch it!!! We had a lot of great times together and I still remember what a great friend you were. RIP.....Mike

Gary, remember when you broke your arm and I helped teach you how to write with your other hand? It was funny as heck. But you did it and learned to do it well. I remember well the day my Mother told me of your passing; it was sad for me. I hope you are at peace and reunited with your father.

Gary,
Man you could make me laugh. I remember you picking at Joe Lunsford and he would chase you down. I remember in the 9th grade I forgot my sneakers for a home basketball game against Daniels and you let me borrow your sneakers and those were the tightest sneakers I ever had on and it was the first basketball game I ever scored in double figures. I'll never forget you man. RIP brother.

I first met Gary Paul in middle school.  I am not sure if anyone else knows that Gary Paul was a excellent artist.  I have several pictures that he drew for me.  He was so talented.  He was a great friend to me and my brother and I often wonder if he were with us today how many works of art would be out there with his signature on them.  In memory of Gary Paul, Sandra Batts Morgan
