James Allen Woodham, Jr., 49, died Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Wake Medical Center. "Jamey" was born August 31, 1957 in Fayetteville, N.C.
A devoted husband and father, Jamey was a graduate of Patterson Preparatory School in 1976 where he was voted most versatile athlete. After graduation, Jamey attended East Carolina and NC State Universities.
A life long lover of sports, Jamey always had a smile on his face and a laugh in his heart. "We love you and will miss you."
Among Jamey's survivors are his wife, Diane Slovensky Woodham and his son James Dylan Woodham both of Wake Forest; his father, James Allen Woodham, Sr. of Raleigh and his mother, Dixie Lee Steele of Climax, NC; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and his dog "Jazzy".
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the James Dylan Woodham College Fund, c/o BB&T 1821 S. Main St. Wake Forest, NC 27587.
