BFA from Western Carolina University in 1974 and MFA from East Carolina University in 1977. Worked as a Design Engineer in the yachting industry for 15 years and with Corning Inc in Optical Fiber Development for 15 years... Now I am a full-time artist and really loving it!

My wife, Marilyn Emory Heiser, my high school sweetheart, died 30-Oct-24 from cancer. I'm heartbroken.

School Story:

German class with Herr Watts, we could not do today what we did then... it was great... We need more Moose on the wall.

Being in English class (I think) downstairs in the auditorium when the fire alarm went off... oops, not a drill, when we headed out the door we could smell the smoke and then see it boiling out of the auditorium...

Marilyn died on 30-Oct-2024 after fighting cancer. I am heartbroken. She was my high school sweetheart, the love of my life, and the kindest most caring soul I have ever known. Peace to you sweetie, I see you daily in the sky.

Hey Jenny.... Hope you are doing well!! We are loving life here in Edenton... I'm just checking to be sure you got my check for the reunion. Keep the fiath. look forward to seeing you and all the others.... Not sure if this is all clear but, I dated Marilyn Emory in High School, we reconnected in 2010 and were married in 2014... Best move of my life!
