Scottie E. Duncan Terry, 54, of Savannah, Georgia, wife of Gilbert N. Terry, died Saturday morning, February 8, 2003, in Candler Hospital.  Born in Edenton, NC, she was a daughter of the late Fred Duncan and Frnces Carlisle Duncan.  Mrs. Terry was a member of Savannah Christian Church.  She was owner and chef for Peppers Corporate Aircraft Catering.  Mrs. Terry also worked as a medical technologist at Paulsen Square Medical Associates, and was a nurse for 15 years at Wilmington Island Medical Clinic.  Surviving are her husband, Gilbert N. Terry of Savannah, Georgia; two daughters, Ashley L. Yow of Savannah, Georgia, and Jessica Rose Terry of Norfolk, Virginia; one brother, Fred Duncan of Lovettsville, Virginia, and one grandson, Dillon Wesley Yow of Savannah. Georgia.

I can't say I knew Scottie well, but on the day that JFK was shot, somehow she ending up crying on my shoulder in the school hallway.  That memory is one of the most powerful of those years of my life, and I often wondered where she went in life later.

Sorry to hear about Scottie.  She was a very sweet girl and I remember her well.

My memory of Scottie is that Pink Jeep she drove with the fringe top.  I remember too that she and Terry were a couple back at Broughton as well...Rest In Peace...
