The Reunion Committee has rescheduled the plans for the 50th Class Reunion of the
NBHS Class of 1966
Due to Hurricane Matthew, the Reunion Committee was forced to cancel the 50th Reunion Activities scheduled for October 8 and 9, 2016. Fortunately, we were able to hold the Friday night function and had great attendance! We have rescheduled the Saturday night event for Saturday, April 1, 2017; and the Sunday Memorial Service for Sunday, April 2, 2017.
If you registered and paid for the October 2016 weekend activities, we hope you will join us on April 1 and 2, 2017. If you previously were unable to attend, but can join us for April 1 and/or 2, 2017, we hope you will! The cost for those not previously registered and paid for October, will be $75.00 per person for Saturday evening.
The Saturday evening event will be dinner and music at the Carolina Country Club. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m., with a buffet dinner starting at 7:15 p.m. A CASH BAR will be available. Beginning at 8:00, the Martin Davis Band (former Embers members) will provide background music. After dinner, there will be mingling and dancing until 11:00. (Men, jackets, no ties; Ladies, casual social attire – no jeans)
On Sunday morning at 10:30, there will be a Memorial Service honoring our deceased classmates. This will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh, NC and will be a very special interfaith celebration commemorating the life of each.
