RHS Memories:
I remember absolutely loving High School. I grew up in several different foster homes, as some of you may remember. So, school for me, was more or less, my home. It was the only stable place that I felt comfortable, and welcomed. My teachers were my parents, the people I admired and looked to for advice and praise. My friends, were my brothers and sisters that I never had. ( : When I was a freshman at Ramona, my Mother passed away and I was on my own. Some of you gave me a couch to sleep on, and food when I had none. I worked 2 jobs that I walked to, it allowed me the necessities, but I had to rely on others for a place to live. It was really hard to stay in school, to get my homework done, to wake up in the mornings and catch that damn bus at dark thirty haha, and then to graduate! My senior year was the hardest, but I did it, and I did it because of my friends. I was a very, lucky girl. I had some of the best people in the world, as my friends. I am SO looking forward to seeing those familiar faces and telling them thank you in person! I'm also very much looking forward to meeting those classmates that I never knew, but wish I had!( :
