My Life:

I went straight to college after high school and got my BS in Psychology. I have worked various jobs, including 10 years at the City of Thousand Oaks. I even dabbled in a little improvisational theatre. LOVED IT! Anyway, Ted and I met in 2000 and got married in 2002, bought our house in 2003 and had our son, Jett, in 2004. We just went right down the checklist of things to do. HA! We are now hoping to have another baby.

I consider myself a stay-at-home mom although I work p/t from home at 2 jobs (admin asst for local company and manager for my friend's company). I am also the Ombudsman for my husband's command. VERY BUSY! Scratch all that. I am no longer an Ombudsman and I only work 1 p/t job from home. Couldn't ask for anything better.

Ted is in the Navy and we might be stationed down in San Diego in December 2008. Coming home.! Scary!!!!

I love getting in touch with so many old friends. This has been great!

We are moving to Valley Center in April. Hope to start catching up with old friends!

RHS Memories:

I was so horribly shy in high school (even though I was on cheer and in ASB) and I wish that I had just said "hi" to more people. I think we all had that insecurity in us. Ah well! Hindsight is 20/20.

I liked that our school was small. I think the school prepared me for college and life. I remember dance concerts, ASB, Mr. Baniaga, Mr. Bowman and Mr. Gallion, lots of pep rallies and dress up days, senior homecoming week with some guy with a gun across the street and campus locked down, and then winter ball at the Castle with another guy with a gun so those of us that went late couldn't get in. So many good things. I also remember growing up there and Safety Patrol, RIS being the merging of both elementary schools and so meeting new people, the different trees that each group hung out at, and then good ole RHS with Friday night football games that I think everyone went to because there wasn't much else to do in town. The town could have been robbed on Friday nights because everyone was at the game. Lots of good things to remember. Everyone hated growing up in Ramona because it was so small but so many have stayed there and have fond memories that we wouldn't have had in a big town.

I have to add new RHS memories from the reunion. I had such a great time catching up with people. I caught up with old friends and feel that I made new friends. It is great to see that after 20 years, the social circles that we had in high school have gone away and I ended up hanging out with people this weekend that I did not hang out with at school. It was great fun and makes me appreciate what great people we had at our school.

Who did you hang out with in high school?

Jessica Drummer, Jodi Winter, Annette Underwood, Tina Swift, Trisha Keller, Chris Reiber, lots of friends over the years living in Ramona.

What are your favorite 80's songs?

Oh I can't list them all but I still have my tapes from:
ABC
Depeche Mode
Erasure
Howard Jones
Adam Ant
Oingo Boingo
The Cure
all those "New Wave" groups

Is there anything we'd be surprised to know about you?

I ran a marathon in 2001. You wouldn't know it by looking at me now.
I had my nose pierced and my tongue pierced. Well I had the tongue pierced twice as I swallowed the original tongue ring.
