My Life:
1984-88: Survived high school as a bit of a socially retarded jerk.
1988-92: Survived the US Navy as a bit of a socially retarded jerk. Travelled Europe, northern Africa, the Middle East and the Caribbean. Was in Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Spent a lot of time in Jacksonville and Boston. Did some golf cart jousting and drank a lot of Jaegermeister. Made some great friends and memories.
1992-1995: Moved to Southeast Missouri and went to college. Was abducted by aliens. Made it back OK. Spent too much time at strip clubs, house parties, and touring historic sites with a girl from Detroit. Made some great friends and memories.
1995-1997: Married girl from Detroit. Moved to Detroit. Spent too much time at goth clubs where the girls wear a little underwear and a little electric tape and black boots. Hung out with artists and musicians and other freaky people. Made some great friends and memories. Got divorced from girl from Detroit.
1997-now: Moved to Southeast Missouri again (I don’t know why). Met a local girl and married her. Had beautiful children. Grew up. All of a sudden there were many bills. Too many. I don’t care for them. At all. Was diagnosed as bi-polar (that’s fun). Developed a mixed mid-western and southern accent that is not in the least bit attractive (unless the film Deliverence gets you excited). So now I’m a husband, a dad, and a complete head case.
