Went to USD - International Relations. Went to work for a state senator and moved to Sacramento for a few years (met my future wife while receiving physical therapy for shoulder surgery). Moved back to SD in '98 after being appointed by then Mayor Susan Golding to be the City's point person for intergovernmental relations focusing. Reappointed by Mayor Dick Murphy and yet again by Mayor Jerry Sanders. Now focus on federal intergovernmental instead of state and am also responsible for water supply policy for the city due to current drought and water supply constraints.

Married in June 2002 in Napa (wife's hometown). Live in Allied Gardens. Was president of Community Council, served on both Mission Trails Policy Committee and local community planning group.

Daughter was born in 2006 and our son is due the first week of 2009.

Way too many stories to share and identities to protect. One of the best has to be New Year's Eve party 1985/1986 at Deanne Page's house. Leaving a certain unnamed friend on the porch of his/her house after too many drinks and then getting home too late after just getting driver's license. Glad to be the youngest child because the consequences were negligible.
Homecoming '86 - tp'ing the school the night before the game and having to hide from the sheriff while others were caught.
