Katherine Agnew Fourcher Lounsbury, 41, of Esther Lane, Colchester, beloved wife to Ronald, loving and caring Mother to Rebecca and Samuel, passed into enteral rest Thursday afternoon, (October 23, 2003) at her home. Born Aug. 21, 1962 in Stamford, she was a daughter to Priscilla (Talcott) Spahn and step-daughter to Arnold M. Spahn of Randolph, VT. Kate was a 1980 graduate of the Randolph Union High School in Randolph, VT. She received her B.A. in Elementary Education and Psychology from Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY, and graduated Cum Laude and with Departmental Distinction in 1985. She then went on to receive her M.A. in Psychology from Connecticut College in New London in 1989. Kate was most recently engaged as a substitute Teacher with the Colchester Public School system. Kate had a love for flowers and worked part-time at the Colchester Florist. Along with her loving husband and children and parents, she is also survived by a nephew; two uncles and aunts; and several cousins; and many close friends. She was predeceased by her father, Kirk Channing Fourcher. A Memorial service to celebrate her life was held on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 11 a.m., at the Colchester Federated Church.
