Planned Events for 50th Class Reunion

Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12

Classmates, much of our planning is a result of the similar plans the Class of ’75 used last year. They reported a very enjoyable time, and we believe our classmates will enjoy a similar type of experience. We want to keep things casual, have fun, and relax. We hope you will be able to join us!

Friday Evening September 11 -

❖ Canyon Lake Lodge Resort - on Canyon Lake
❖ 4510 Shore Drive, Rapid City, SD

Gather around 5:30 pm at the Canyon Lake Resort. This is intended to be a casual affair at the Canyon Lake Resort. There will be some adult beverages available, you are welcome (and legal) to bring your own beverage (coolers fine) of choice while we socialize and enjoy drinks & catered, informal happy hour dining with music. We have access both inside the resort and on the patio with firepit at Canyon Lake beach until whenever.

❖ A limited number of rooms are available at the Resort - If you are interested in staying at the Resort there are a few very nice rooms available. Room rates are competitively priced and depend on the type of room. Contact Bryan Schnell at pir@rap.midco.net for further rental information and availability.

❖ Some chairs are available but bringing an extra chair or two in your vehicle, just in case, would be advisable.

We have rented the Resort for the entire weekend. This is a great space to meet up with friends, hang out and visit on Saturday.

Saturday Morning September 12 - Stevens High School Tour - 9:00 AM - Meet at the high school

Saturday Evening September 12

• We have located a great gem on the west side in a venue we have all to ourselves, held at the Shrine Center at 4091 Sturgis Road, RCSD 57702 (not far past Meadowood Lanes). This will be a catered, sit-down affair with casual dress and a program intended to revive some good memories, followed by the opportunity to return to the Canyon Lake Resort beach for a second night to enjoy some farewell time together…
