The Reunion Committee met at the Red Lion at the Park. Those present were: Cindy Duenwald, LaVerne Rettkowski, Randy Knigge, Jim Ford, Shirleen Mitchell, Andy Anderson and Dianna Smithpeter.

 

Randy reported on the status of things with the hotel. They are going to comp us a room which we could use for a giveaway. He also told us that we need to decide on a menu by February 15^th and we need to sign the contract.

 

Cindy reported that US Bank will probably donate $100 to us which would bring our donations up to $200 with Ag Link’s. Randy felt that he could possibly get 6 X $100 donations.

 

LaVerne moved that we sign the contract, charge a price of $72 per ticket and the lodging is at the classmates own expense. Andy amended the motion to say that the ticket price is $72 until April 30^th and then would go up to $85. Shirleen seconded and the motion passed unanimously.

 

Andy reported that there are some classmates from the classes of ’73 and ’71 who have expressed interest in coming. We decided to open the purchasing of tickets to these classes after May 1^st. Our room will only hold 80 people and since the other half has been booked for a wedding reception, there is no opportunity to expand into it.

 

We discussed the classmates that we still cannot find. Andy has put some pictures on Facebook in hopes that someone will know where they are. LaVerne said she will get a hold of Diana Davenport and Dave Allen.

 

The next meeting is set for March 3^rd at the Rusty Moose, 11:00 a.m. The meeting adjourned and the committee took a tour of the rooms.
