Special things you've done:
I coordinate Antique Apprisal Days for non profits. Over the past eight years I have worked with The Gold Nugget Museum, Paradise, CA, Tehama Museum, Tehama, CA, Mt.Shasta Resource Center, Mt.Shasta, CA, and The Chico AAUW's annual fun raiser for their Tech Trek, a program to send high school young women to Stanford Univ. for a summer computer camp.
Currently I am on the board of directors for The Janet Turner Print Collection at CSUC. I am a past board member of the Gold Nugget Museum, Paradise, CA.
I am a contributing member of the Corning Glass Museum,The Sandwich Glass Museum and a Trustee and Past President of The National Early American Glass Society.
In 2005 I was awarded The California State University's Faculty International Development Award for Excellence. I was honored to attend Karolov Univerziti, in Prague for a program in Art History in 2005.
UPDATE
In 2011 Robert was picked to play in the World's Doctors Ochestra in Berlin, Germany.
Since Sept 2010 I have a space at The 8Th & Main Antique Mall here in Chico. It's called Glass 1900, stop by some time. I only work two days a month.
May 2012 Robert, son Jon and I spent three weeks in the Galapagos Islands. Fifteen days were spent on the Samba, a 16 passenger ship that traveled to all but four of the Islands. An amazing place!!
May 2014 Just returned from 21 days on the east coast of Australia. Traveled from Sydney-Brisbane-Cairns. Meet up with our son Jon in Brisbane and drove up to Cairns along the coast. Spent three days and two nights on a dive boat on the Great Barrier Reef. Fantatstic!
