Comments:

Packed my cars three days after graduation and hit the road. Traveled across the U.S.A to the other coast and then back, stopped in Portland when I ran out of money. Moved to Chico to start at Chico State but found a boy instead. Got married had some rug rats and started working. I have owned eight different businesses. Love what I am doing now. We have owned Angie's for about 15 years, I have a great staff so I am semi-retired which isn't bad at 43. I like to travel and now I have the time. Play Volleyball and Softball through Chico Area Recreation Department which is so much fun. Can't wait to see everyone. If you would like to talk before go ahead and call me.
See you all in June,
Angie

School Story:

There was and maybe still is a pick and pull wrecking yard right out of town towards Redding. They had called and had shipped to them every Suburu of the same make and model as mine. They had a hill they parked them on under a big tree. This was done in an attempt to make it easier to find the parts I needed. I was always in such a hurry (always late I worked four jobs) I was a menence. Anyway I would just call and tell them how bad and what I needed and they would have it waiting for me. The boys at the shop would pull everything and load it into their truck and I would come in and pay for everything. They would take everything to their barn and put it all on for me and paint it. This was done in a attempt to keep the insurance and my parents from finding out I had been in another accident. They called me their best customer and I always appreciated them and I am sure their mother appreciated me lol. After all I had to work four jobs just to keep my car on the road.
The truck drivers nick named me Little Miss Hidding Hood when I drove across the U.S. in it. They helped me fix her and told me the best hotels and towns to stay in. A CB has never been so much fun. They would tell me if a town needed a waitress and if it was worth staying a few weeks and or months in a place. I stayed in Co., New York, Florida, Montanna, Cottage Grove Or. and then Portland. I stayed in 100 small towns in States I no longer remember.
When I drove by on my way back from Portland I looked up at the hill and cried looking at the shells of those cars. I knew I was home and I would stay close, so I made a home in Chico. Thanks again boys for all your help. You saved my ass more then I can say.
Oh and yeah sorry to everyone on the road from 85 to 91 after the birth of my first child. Now my kids call me a worrier and overcautious driver lol. Oh yeah and to the boys who turned me back over at the Bear Hole in Chico thanks. I really didn't know how I was going to explain that one. Collen(Rydan) said we could make it. I sould have never listened to her she was a worse driver then me lol. Unless she was on a horse then she could really drive. I remember watching her race she was beautiful and I miss her.
