Cas Jankauskas

From his obituary:

Dr. Kazys J. Jankauskas, MD died peacefully at his home in Gulf Breeze, January 20, 2008 after a lengthy illness. His two sons, Dainius and Saulius, preceded him in death.  Cas had been married for 41 years to Renata.  Cas was born in Arnsfels, Austria as his parents were fleeing Lithuania and the Russian Communist threat during World War II. The family immigrated to the United States in 1949, settling in Detroit, Michigan.  Cas attended Western Michigan University and Wayne State Medical School in Detroit.  His medical training was at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, IL, Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA and Hutzel Hospital in Detroit. A lover of the sun and warm weather, Cas settled in Pensacola, FL. in 1973.  He served as medical director of the Alcohol Intervention Unit of Lakeview and the New Life Program at Baptist Hospital for several years and practiced internal medicine, and then retired from his medical practice in 2006.
