After high school I worked a variety of jobs to put myself through school (it was still possible in those days). Received B.A. in 1970 from Wayne State University, majoring in Russian. Promptly drafted into the Army, serving briefly 1970-1971. Returned to school in 1973 and received a M.S.L.S. (Master of Science in Library Science), also from W.S.U., in 1975. Worked 10 years in public libraries and 23 years as a law librarian before retiring in 2008. Still living in Redford. Never had any reason to leave. Spend time traveling and working hard to stave off the ravages of time. Hoping to begin volunteer activities soon. Just living and enjoying life.
