Steve was my best friend at Redlands High and for a few years after. He, Paul Miles, Ellis Taylor and myself used to hang out at times after school and on weekends. Steve and I used to go up to the old Swim and Tennis club and try to play tennis, and I mean try. We did this on Monday afternoons during my second fire season with the Forest Service when I was on the Mill Creek Helishot crew. Does anyone know when he passed? I lost track of him many years ago after his dad had passed.
