The last time I saw George was sping of lasr year at a buddy's of ours memorial here in Yucaipa. our buddy was also named George, my second fire season with the Forest Service on the Mill Creek Helishot  crew Oz came on on crew for the season. Our buddy George was our Captian of our crew. We flew to many fires in that Huey that season. I left the crew after that season, and moved on tp engines. I didn't see Oz until just a few years ago. But our buddy George stayed in touch with Oz for years. Oz and I first met on the "B" football team before school started our 10th grade year. He was someone you didn't forget very easily. Rest in peace Oz.
