1948 ~ 2015
The world lost a precious soul on January 14, 2015 with the passing of Jeanette Ann Avery. 
She was born in Palo Alto, California on September 21, 1948, daughter of Robert and Lois Barnes. She is survived by her two children, Lara Ann Avery and Jesse Lee Avery. 
After moving to Salt Lake City, Utah in the early 1980's, she started serving her new community right away by landing a job at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Trolley Square, where she worked for over 20 years. Jeanette's compassion stretched far beyond her job, as she made her true life's work in helping all those in need. Whether it was a smile and a joke, to stitching hats and scarves, or donating food and money, Jeanette lived every day with a desire to make everyone's life she encountered just a little bit better. 
A memorial service was held at Wasatch Presbyterian Church 1626 South 1700 East, Salt Lake City, Utah on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 11:30am.
