Beverly Derksen Staley

I currently am the Office Manager of the Visalia DMV. I have been with DMV 21 years and love my job. I started this occupational journey in 1986, in Long Beach California than to West Covina to Walnut Creek, Clovis, Tulare, Reedley and now Visalia. Promotions took me all over but my ultimate goal was to live closer to home.....and so glad to be residing in Kingsburg.

After graduating from Immanuel HS,
I attended Reedley College and Tabor College where I met and married my first husband Gene Gurley, moved to his home town of Jacksonville Florida where we lived for 5 years. We than moved to Los Angeles and resided their for 3 years.
I now am remarried for 14 years. MY husband is from Selma California and is a FSU alumni. We have three dogs and reside happily in Kingsburg for the past 13 years. My husband and I enjoy going to MorroBay/Cayucous often where both sides of our family have second homes. We enjoy traveling very much. Included in our travels have been, trips to Mexico, France, Spain, cruises and traveling to Oregon, Wyoming, and Canada. We also enjoy FSU football and basketball games where Dave has been a ticket holder for as long as I can remember.
Dave enjoys playing weekly golf with his friends from HS. My hobbies include running and going to the movies.

While in high school I enjoyed being involved in choir and Sunshine......yearbook, student council and tennis.

Enjoyed friendships most of all.......

I have many great HS memories but for now one terrific fond memory I would like to share was being voted "Life of the Party with my dear friend, Eddie." I have had the pleasure of seeing and visiting with Eddie through the years when we both were working at the MCC sale held at PC.
