Debbie Booth Murray

Married with 5 children and 6 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. After 25 years of being on-site at NASA Langley managing faculty and student programs, as of November, 2014, I have moved off-site to the Virginia Space Grant Consortium (VSGC). I will remain a NASA contractor. I have recently been promoted to Program Manager, Internships and Research Experiences with VSGC. One of the programs I manager is the Commonwealth STEM Industry Internship Program (CSIIP) for college sophomores through recent graduates for students attending a Virginia school or are a Virginia resident attending a school elsewhere. If you have children or know of other students who may be interested, this is a year round program offering multi-week internships with STEM companies located in Virginia. I am seeking students as well as additional Virginia companies to get involved with this exciting program.

I most enjoy my family, grandchildren and friends. I enjoy entertaining, huge cookouts and informal social gatherings. I enjoy traveling which I do mostly with my job. My husband and I enjoy working with our church's 4th Week Food Ministry which I oversee the fund raising activities. All of that said and done, we stay very busy.
