David N. Mason  Oct. 4, 1932 - Jan. 14, 1998

Funeral services for David N. Mason, 65, Pokomoke City, MD, were held at the Holloway-Melson Funeral Home January 19, 1998, with Rev. Rick Edmund and Rev. Maury Enright officiating. Mr. Mason passed away Jan. 14, 1998.

David Neil Mason was born Oct. 4, 1932, in Pierre to Arthur R. and Veryl (Adams) Mason. He graduated from Reliance High School in 1951. After graduation he served four years in the US Navy and four years in the US Air Force.

He was a lifetime member of the DAV and a retired postal service worker, where he was employed 24 years. He was also a member of Pittsville United Methodist Church in Miona, VA.

David is survived by his wife, Ruby D. (Tull) Mason; son, David N. Mason, Jr., Pokomoke City; three daughters: Harriet M. Scott, Pokomoke, Josephine V. Bowden, Ocean Pines, MD., and Jacqueline D. Lappierre, Licking, MO; two brothers: Conrad and Arthur, both from Arkansas; two sisters: Teliha Mason-Sailor in South Dakota and Rita Mason-Neptune in Arkansas; 22 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother Larry.

Burial was in Nelson Cemetery.
