Harold Reuer 1931-1992

Funeral services for Harold Reuer, 61, Ft. Pierre, were held at 10:30 am, Monday, Nov. 16th, 1992, in the First United Methodist Church, Pierre.  The Reverend Leonard Haggin officiated.  Interment followed in Scotty Philip Cemetery, Ft. Pierre.

Harold died November 12 in St. Mary's Hospital, Pierre.

Harold Fredrick Reuer was born August 9th, 1931, in Reliance to Mathilda (Heib) and Fred Reuer.  He attended rural school and graduated from Reliance High School in 1949.  In 1962 the family moved to Ft. Pierre to ranch west of town on the Bad River.

February 10, 1978, he married Mary L. (Klingbeil) Hines and moved into Ft. Pierre.  He retired from ranching last spring.

Mr. Reur was a member of the Moose Lodge.

Survivors, besids his wife, include a step-son, Randy Hines of San Antonio, Texas; four step-daughters: Linda Durham of Valley City, ND; Jeanne Pickett of Philip; Rita Gladuc of Fargo, ND; and Patricia Baumgart of Newell; three brothers, Helmut of Ft. Pierre, and Francis of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
