Worked in the Minneapolis area in the commercial heating and air conditioning industry. Some big projects were the Monticello Nuclear Power Plant, IDS Tower, the Mall of America. Got married in 1972 and have 2 children and now have 5 grandchildren. My wife and I are currently retired.

Still run into Kenny Gale, Jim Campbell, Joe Chalich, Duane Godfrey, Pete Giffen.
What did you do right after High School?
Went to Dunwoody for sheet metal apprenticeship program and have been working in that field ever since.
What did you want to do or think you were going to do when you finished High School?
Had absolutely no idea. Ended up following other family members in the sheet metal trade.
What types of jobs have you had in the past?
Do you mean ones that actually paid you money? That would be a sheet metal worker.
What have you always wanted to do that you haven't done yet?
Retire.
What are some high points of your life since High School?
Going on numerous vacations with our kids and watching them grow up and start lives for themselves.
Married? To Whom? When? How Long?
Married to Geralyn Sartell in 1972 and as of 2019 have been married for 47 years.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Trap and skeet shooting, going to the annual Minnesota Street Rod Association's Back to the 50's car show in my '63 Nova SS, deer hunting.
Do you travel much? Where have you traveled?
Like to go to Mexico in the winter. Have been to Mexico numerous times and all over the U.S. visiting relatives and friends.
What is your favorite place to go to? Why?
Riviera Maya in Mexico is my favorite place. We stay at an all-inclusive resort on the Caribbean and just relax in the warm tropical breezes.
What places do you want to visit yet? Why?
Want to travel the entire west coast from San Diego to Seattle. I like road trips.
What is your favorite memory of Northland High School?
Everyone walking around in circles in the morning. The guys walked one way and the girls walked the other so we could check each other out.
What is your least favorite memory or Northland High School? Why?
Getting kicked out of school by Mr. Tuuri.
What is the biggest thing you would do differently if you went back to your time at NHS? Why?
Take typing class so I could use a computer better. Do you know how long it takes to type with just one finger?
