ephanie Lynn [Backus] Maddox, age 55, of Reno, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2003.
She is survived by sisters Norma Scott and Debra Backus, daughter Phoebe Maddox, niece Aubrey Gurzi, nephew Jeremiah Gurzi, uncle Gary Backus, aunt Joanne and uncle Jack Shepherd, aunt Lorraine Shepherd, and several cousins.
Stephanie is in the arms of her Almighty God, to whom she has been a model of devotion for many years. Stephanie’s devotion and kindness offered to others in the name of God served as an inspiration to us all, and will be forever remembered. She will remain in the hearts of all who knew here. Stephanie was particularly a very loving, giving aunt and sister. Until we meet again, we love you.
