What's New

Margaret and I were classmates from elementary school through high school. Here’s a fun story about seventh grade, at Northside Jr. High. Margaret’s family was planning to move out of town. We gave her a nice picnic, going-away party at Idlewild Park. But then, her family did not move, after all. Of course, we were glad to have had a party, however, it may have been disconcerting for Margaret.

I knew Ken mostly in 7th Grade. He was a very likeable person, and I expect that he was wonderful all of his life. I am sorry to hear of his passing.
Jim Buckley passed away Friday, April 21, 2018, from bone cancer. He had been sick and in treatment for months.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Harrah’s Auto Museum, in Reno, on Saturday, June 9, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. His ashes will be scattered from the Golden Gate Bridge.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the class reunion this year. I am sorry that I have lost contact with a few of you that I've seen over the past few years. Hopefully we can re-connect at the reunion.

Dear Douglas,
Every school memory I have includes you and Tom Burke. I remember playing at recess in kindergarten (or was it first grade) with Jerry Roundy--Captain Roundy. Every RHS reunion is, to me, a celebration of our entire school history. It's always a treat to see you. And I am very happy to hear about your interesting life. Sincerely, Celeste
