"YOU HAVE TO HAVE A LITTLE FUN EVERYDAY!"

Soda Springs: Bruce William Bennett, 62; born April 1, 1948 the son of George W. and Alta Davis Bennett passed to the Long Sleep Saturday, August 21, 2010.

Bruce lived by the words above, quoted from his Father. Living by his philosophy, Bruce spread it and his friendship through the many excursions he experienced in his life. Bruce grew up hiking and fishing with his Dad. Those experiences carried through with Bruce all of his life. He never lost his love to be outdoors. As everyday came to a close - he would celebrate with an E.T. Sarsaparilla.

Bruce, we hope you know we will miss your laughter, awesome cooking- and of course, your attitude- because- good or bad- you always had one! You will be missed.
In addition to his many friends, Bruce is survived by his loving wife Sue Bennett, amazing aunt Betty, brother Richard, sister Jo and two stepsons Jim and Troy.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Sims Funeral Home.'

Bruce and I cut afternoon classes our senior year on a regular basis to ride our dirt bikes but eventually were called into Mrs. Aldez's office. Turns out one of us had a secret admirer that had been somehow fudging the records for us but Mrs. A knew better. So we just rode a little less. We both went into the service after H.S. but kept in touch after finishing our enlistments and at one point in between marriages, rented rooms in a house together. We lost touch after he moved to Sacramento but by chance ran into each other on the freeway as he was returning home and I was on my way to the company plant I worked for. That was the last time I saw him and later found out he had moved to Idaho. I miss his smile and have so many great memories that I will always cherish.
