Bob was born in Ely, Nevada, and educated in Reno Nevada. He attended McGill grade school. (Earned varsity letter) Graduated from Reno High School in 1966. (Thank You David Finch and sports). Bob attended the University of Nevada Reno before enlisting in the United States Navy for a four-year enlistment. After three and half years of active duty, Bob was honorable discharged. He was employed by Sierra Pacific Power Company for twenty-four and half years. He was a surveyor for fifteen years in the Carson district. After leaving S.P.P.C, Bob worked for twelve and half years for Washoe County. He worked as a Survey Party Chief for ten years. He finally retired in September 2008 on his sixtieth birthday. Upon retirement, Multiple Sclerosis showed its ugly head, and about ten years later Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis showed up. Robert Drakulich is survived by his Domestic Partner Maureen Young, sons Mark Drakulich, Luke Drakulich, Kevin Schmidt, his daughter Lisa Rogers, his grandchildren Ella, Harper, Vincent, Caleb, Jeanne, Angelina, Adriana, Marissa, and Emily. There will be a celebration of life on April 22 from 3-7 at 2000 Holcomb Ranch Lane.
